Story 01
Lakeside vows, then a night on fire
Henna and roses in the morning, a balcony above the lake by afternoon, blue hour under the palms. Then the lawn went dark and the sky lit up around them.
Dishon and Suweda's day began quietly, with henna still dark on Suweda's hands, white roses and the rings laid out in a pool of soft light. She wore a blush lehenga. By the afternoon they were on a white balcony above the lake, then down by the water, laughing at something nobody else heard.
As the light went, we walked them out under the palms for blue hour, the lake turning silver behind them. Inside, the reception got going: the champagne tower, the groomsmen's selfie, and a photobooth that printed strips for their friends all evening.
Then the lawn went dark. A fire spinner stepped out, and for a few seconds the night filled with a ring of sparks around the two of them. It is one of our favourite photographs, and it is why their story opens our website.
Their story is a good example of how we work: we don't stage a day, we pay attention to it, and we make sure we're standing in the right place when it does something extraordinary.
