A Sri Lankan homecoming has its own feeling. The rituals of the wedding are behind you, the families are together, and there is room to laugh. We photograph and film it with the same care as the wedding itself: the welcome at the entrance, the drummers and dancers, the cake, the speeches, the friends who stay until the very end.
Shamila and Nuwanthi were welcomed into their homecoming between Kandyan drummers and dancers in full ves dress. Tharindra and Maneka spent theirs laughing at the cake table. Devindi and Hashindra stepped out onto a terrace above the hills for their portraits. Every homecoming has a different mood, and we follow it.

Because the homecoming is lighter, it is often where couples get their favourite portraits. We'll find a quiet half hour, a good spot and good light, and give you photographs of the two of you that feel unhurried.

Can we book the wedding and homecoming together?
Yes, and most couples do. The same team covers both, so the photographs and films tell one continuous story.
Do you film homecomings as well?
Yes. We make short homecoming trailers and full-length homecoming films, alongside the photographs.
Where do you cover homecomings?
Across Sri Lanka, including Colombo, Kandy and the hill country. Tell us the venue and date and we'll confirm.
