For ten years we've photographed and filmed Sri Lankan celebrations: Kandyan drummers at the doorway, a nikah in quiet lamplight, church bells, kovil rituals, and the aunties who make every one of them happen.
Our way is simple. Know the people, know the rituals, then stay close and stay out of the way. What you get back isn't a pile of poses. It's how the day actually felt, in photographs and film you'll want to hand down.
